The Brief
To design an alternative solution to the client’s ideas that would have greater impact in the space.
The Challenge
To create chandeliers using fresh fruit and vegetables in a safe way to conform with high health and safety regulations.
The Outcome
A great deal of research was done by the team in the mechanics of how to attach the produce and monitoring of rot and decomposition over a period of time. Each structure also needed to allow for the weight factors of the raw fruit and vegetables, and structural strength of the base frame. We were incredibly proud of the outcome and STUFF.co.nz featured our Creative Director in a very prominent interview, which caused ripples in the industry for our innovative approach to four stunning creations that sat incredibly well in the vast space of the venue.
