Te Ohu Kaimoana Conference 2022

Rukutohorā symbolises the long breath required to dive deep into the oceans, seeing the unseen, feeling the unknown and seamlessly gliding into another world of opportunity. It reflects this auspicious time – celebrating the last 30 years and turning towards the next 30 years.

Tying a theme to both the day conference and dinner that evening.

We created imagery and visual elements referencing the ocean, including the whale brand. Using custom theatre-inspired props, we created a whale diving after taking a breath as the centrepiece of the stage for both events – changing position for the second event. The lounges and florals all reflected underwater colours and textures, corals and seaweed.
